Having problems with your Sensory Bridge? Let's try a few solutions.

CHECK YOUR POWER SUPPLY CHOICE
First things first, let's check that the PC, charging block, or other PSU isn't the problem.
Make sure you're using a 5V power supply capable of at least 2A. (Most cell phone chargers will do.) Try changing to a different power source if available, to see if this resolves the issue.

CHECK IF YOUR USB-C CABLE IS WORKING
Maybe it's the cable?
If possible, try a different USB-C cable or try this cable on another device to verify it is working properly.
NOTE: To update your firmware or use the configuration tools, Sensory Bridge requires a USB-C cable with data wires inside it. (Unfortunately, some only carry power!)

IS YOUR LED STRIP WIRED CORRECTLY?
Getting the LED wiring right is very important!
Make sure to double-check your LED wiring against the standard defined in the Getting Started Guide if you aren't using a Mini Mast LED strip.
("DotStar"-style 4-wire LED strips are supported, but only after manually changing the LED type to "DOTSTAR" using the tool at settings.sensorybridge.rocks)

CHECK YOUR BRIGHTNESS LEVEL
Is the Sensory Bridge set to 0% brightness?
Make sure the "PHOTONS" knob (brightness) is turned all the way up.

CLEAR AMBIENT NOISE CALIBRATION
Maybe something went wrong with ambient noise calibration?
It's possible that you have a bad Ambient Noise Calibration saved, let's try clearing it by holding down the NOISE button for longer than 1 second, then releasing it.

PERFORM FACTORY RESET
If all else fails, this is our last stop.
Once the latest firmware is written, hold down both the NOISE and MODE button while plugging the device into power.
Your device should automatically reboot, clear all saved configuations, and re-create them as if it were shipped brand new with the latest firmware.

LET'S TALK
I'm sorry this guide couldn't fix it.
The next step is troubleshooting the hardware itself or requesting a replacement unit.
If you DM me on Twitter @lixielabs, or email me at lixielabs@gmail.com, I'm happy to one-on-one diagnose further problems with you, or send a new unit if we can't fix it!
